Rebecca Tyler is one of the main characters of Disconnected. She's a 27 year old English teacher who has just moved to Sydney from a small country town, after breaking up with her long-term boyfriend, Andrew.
Her home telephone is connected by a time wormhole to Mark Campbell's, with whom she becomes romantically linked.
Rebecca is murdered by an alternate timeline version of Mark and is replaced by a stronger, more self-reliant version of herself.
